This page collects the things a client, a purchaser or a procurement team needs to verify about National Digital, in one place. If something you need is not here, ask us and we will send it.

Who you are contracting with

National Digital is a registered business name of The Trustee for Australian Business Trust, ABN 13 744 838 758 — the entity that appears on our contracts, invoices and insurance. The trustee company is General Consulting Services Pty Ltd, ACN 658 447 280, registered in Queensland.

• Trading since — 2016; the current entity structure from April 2022

Our ABN and business name registration can be verified independently at ABN Lookup, and the trustee company at ASIC.

Prequalification and panels

We are an active member of the NSW Government prequalification scheme SCM0020 — ICT Services, at both available tiers:

• Registered supplier — approved 23 November 2023
• Advanced supplier — approved 15 December 2023, following the scheme's additional capability and financial assessment

Advanced status is the tier NSW buyers require for higher-value and more complex engagements. Where a buyer's procurement rules require a scheme or panel we do not currently hold, tell us — most are open to application and we will say plainly whether we are eligible rather than let a submission fail on a gate.

Insurance

Our professional indemnity and public liability cover is placed through Aon Risk Services Australia and underwritten by CGU under their Information & Communication Technology Liability wording. The insured name matches the contracting entity above.

• Professional Indemnity — $2,000,000 any one claim, $8,000,000 in the aggregate
• Broadform Public Liability — $20,000,000 any one claim
• Products and Advertising Liability — $20,000,000 any one occurrence and in the aggregate
• Workers' compensation — held with WorkCover Queensland; workers in other states are covered by that state's scheme

The policy runs on an 18 October anniversary. A current certificate of currency is available on request, normally the same day.

Policies

Our governing policies are published in full rather than summarised, because a summary is not something a purchaser can assess. Each is approved at version 1.0 and reviewed annually.

• Information Security and Privacy Statement — how we protect client, corporate and personal information, and what happens if something goes wrong
• Quality Policy — how engineering quality is enforced by tooling in the delivery pipeline
• Work Health and Safety Policy — our obligations as a PCBU under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld)
• Environmental Policy — the environmental footprint of a software consultancy
• Modern Slavery and Ethical Sourcing Statement — published voluntarily against the section 16 reporting criteria, including the limits of our supply chain visibility

Security and privacy, in short

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and we recognise the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. We host in Australian regions by default and can evidence the hosting region for every component of a system on request.

We hold no certification to ISO/IEC 27001 and make no claim to one. Our controls are described in the Information Security and Privacy Statement so that a purchaser can assess them directly, and the substantive ones are enforced by tooling rather than by policy adherence — an automated control cannot be skipped under deadline pressure.

Accessibility

We publish an Accessibility Statement setting out this site's conformance status against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the automated and manual checks in our build pipeline, and the limitations we know about. We build client platforms to the same standard.
