Is this the right engagement?
Who it is for
AI Visibility Management fits a business whose customers ask an assistant before they ask you, and whose website is where the answer should come from.
- Customers choose you through search and AI answers, and nobody can say this week whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity names you.
- You are a regulated business and a misstated fee, rate or eligibility rule in an AI answer is a problem the week it appears.
- You have an SEO agency for content and want the measurement and the site engineering held to the same record.
- You have a booking, application or enquiry flow and want to know whether an AI agent can get through it.
What is included each month
The record links two kinds of measurement. Your existing metrics come in through read access to the accounts you already use, so the figures match the ones your team reports. Our own surfaces measure what those accounts cannot see: what AI assistants say about you, whether an AI agent can complete a task on your site, and how crawlers and agents reach it. Both sit in one record, so the question of whether a change brought anyone in has an answer in the same place.
Linked to your existing metrics
- Google and Bing. The queries and pages from Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, index coverage, and rank for up to 60 (service) target terms agreed at setup.
- What it brought in. Sessions and key events by channel from Analytics, including AI referrers, paid search terms with conversions from Google Ads, and calls and bookings from Business Profile.
Measured on our own surfaces
- AI answers, weekly. Twenty-four questions put to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. The record shows whether each one named you, cited you or read your page and left it out, and which sources it used instead.
- The assistant test. Each week an AI agent runs twelve customer tasks on your site. We rank the results against benchmark sites and keep the transcript of every failed run. A plan benchmarks up to 20 (service) sites.
- The results pages. AI Overview presence and citations, Maps results, the results page for your own name, and the domains that hold page one on your terms.
- Site and agent access. Core Web Vitals, crawl and edge errors, how much of each page an assistant can read, inbound links that land on missing pages, and whether agents read the files you publish for them.
The review and the engineering
- Findings and actions. Each finding carries a severity and the evidence behind it. Each action names an owner: engineering, marketing, operations, compliance or your agency. The list is ranked by the gain we expect from each fix.
- Fortnightly review. A senior engineer reads the record, writes the findings and raises the tickets in your Jira, Asana or GitHub.
- Two engineering days. Sixteen hours of senior engineering a month on your codebase to clear the actions we own. Unused hours carry forward as a rolling balance of up to half the month’s included hours.
What the record looks like
Every page of the dashboard is rebuilt from the stored rows, so any figure can be traced to the day it was read. The row that matters most is "seen, unused": the assistant's search returned your page and the answer did not use it. That is a page problem, and page problems are engineering work.
The two samples below follow one fertility clinic through a week. The first comes from the AI answers. The second comes from the search results, the Business Profile, analytics and the site. Each action names its owner. We clear the engineering rows in the committed days, and the other rows go to the team that owns them with the evidence attached.
| Question | Source the assistants used | Finding | Owner | Action |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Which IVF clinic on the Gold Coast should I choose? | Google reviews and Reddit | Third-party sources | Marketing | Be present and accurate where those sources form |
| IVF success rate for a 38-year-old at this clinic | YourIVFSuccess government data | Misstated | Compliance | Check the quoted rate against what the clinic may publish, with the answer's full text |
| Cost of a first IVF cycle after Medicare | The clinic's fee page | Seen, unused | Engineering | Rebuild the PDF fee schedule as an HTML page, one engineering day |
| Does the clinic offer weekend egg collection? | A health directory listing from 2024 | Out of date | Operations | Correct the directory listing and the Business Profile hours |
| Fertility specialists near Robina with short wait times | Two competitors' pages and a booking marketplace | Not named | Engineering | Publish the next available appointment as page text an assistant can read |
An illustrative sample. The live record keeps the full text of every answer and the source each assistant used.
| Finding | Severity | Owner | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| The clinic is not the first result for its own name. A directory listing and an old practice domain sit above it. | High | Engineering | Redirect the old domain and add Organization markup to the homepage |
| Inbound links from 30 sites land on pages that have returned 404 since the last rebuild. | High | Engineering | Redirect each retired URL to the page that replaced it |
| Search Console records organic clicks that Analytics does not see. | High | Engineering | Restore the analytics tag on the templates that lost it |
| AI Overviews appear on 9 of 20 target results pages and cite the clinic on none. | Medium | Engineering | Put the answers the Overviews give into page text that extractors keep |
| The clinic is missing from the Maps results for 13 of 16 local searches. | Medium | Operations | Correct the Business Profile categories and services |
| A second claimed Business Profile carries the clinic's domain. | Medium | Operations | Merge the duplicate profile so hours and phone live in one place |
| Three paid search terms convert and no organic page targets them. | Medium | Marketing | Brief the agency with the converting terms and their landing pages |
| Crawlers fetched pages from a staging host in a week. | Low | Engineering | Put the staging host behind sign-in |
An illustrative sample. Each row is a kind of finding the record has raised for clients, written for the clinic with rounded figures.
On one client's site, crawlers fetched 6,628 (service) pages from a staging host in a single week.
How a week runs
- Every day at 05:00. Search Console, Analytics, Ads, Business Profile, Bing, the crawl log and the lead term of each target are read and stored.
- Monday. The AI answers, the assistant test, the full term set, Core Web Vitals and the competitor standings run. The dashboard rebuilds.
- Tuesday. The weekly note lands in your inbox: the week's findings, what is claimed by an open action, and what shipped and is still firing.
- Every second week. The review. Findings become tickets with the evidence attached, and the engineering days are planned against the list.

Measurement where accuracy is the first test
A clinic, a lender, an insurer or a school is judged on accuracy before it is judged on reach, and each works under rules about what it may say about itself. The record keeps the full text of every answer, so a misstated fee, success rate, eligibility rule or licence can be found the week it appears, with the source the assistant took it from. The action that follows is usually a page change or a listing correction, and both are in scope.
Working alongside your agency
The service measures and engineers. Content, link acquisition, paid media and PR stay with whoever does them today, and the action list gives them the evidence for their rows. The dashboard has a view per owner, so each party sees its own work and the whole list.
Questions buyers ask
Do we need our own Semrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog licence?
No. The service runs on commercial data APIs and our own crawler. There are no third-party seats to buy.
What does AI Visibility Management cost?
The fee is $7,950 (AI Visibility Management (first brand, per month)) a month for the first brand and $1,950 (AI Visibility Management, each additional brand (per month)) a month for each additional brand, ex GST. The fee includes setup, the weekly measurement and assistant test, a senior review every fortnight, and two committed days of senior engineering a month. You can add extra engineering days. Three-month minimum, then 30 days' notice.
What does an extra engineering day cost?
Extra senior engineering days on the managed service are $1,495 (Product Support retainer (entry tier, per month)) each, ex GST. Engineering days are worked on your codebase under your repository rules. The licence includes no engineering days, and an extra day is available only on the managed service.
Can we buy the licence without the engineering days?
Yes. The licence is the same service without the two committed engineering days, and it costs $4,960 (AI Visibility Management licence without engineering days (first brand, per month)) a month for the first brand, ex GST. Your own developers or agency make the changes the findings call for. The pricing section below the cost table lists the additional-brand rate and the annual price.
Who owns the data?
You do. Every row is stored as plain CSV in a repository you can read, and the whole dashboard rebuilds from it. If the service ends, the record stays with you.
How soon do the AI answers change?
The record is useful from the first week. Answers change when the sources the assistants read change, and the weekly note shows what moved and what did not. We describe the mechanisms and the work; we do not promise a mention, a citation or a ranking.
What access do you need?
Read access to Search Console, Analytics, Google Ads, Business Profile and Bing Webmaster Tools, granted to a service account, and a repository seat for the engineering days. Setup takes about a week after access is granted.
Does the assistant test touch our systems?
It reads your public site the way a customer's assistant would, under one named user agent. It never submits a form.
Is this an SEO retainer?
No. A marketing SEO retainer produces content, links and campaigns. This produces the record, the findings and the site engineering, including the technical SEO work on rendering, indexing, redirects and structured data. It works beside a marketing retainer rather than in place of one.
